Our story started over a century ago with Michael Speach (originally Michele Spicciati) — an Italian immigrant with a big dream and an even bigger sweet tooth.

Fast forward four generations, and the candy-making magic is still going strong! Today, Michael’s great-grandson (yep, also Michael — we like to keep things simple) runs The Speach Family Candy Shoppe, Inc. with help from family, friends, and a community that’s as sweet as our chocolate.

What began as one man’s dream has become a Syracuse tradition — mixing nostalgia, creativity, and a whole lot of sugar into something truly special.
